Tybee Ballet Theatre is dedicated to providing exceptional dance education in a welcoming and inspiring environment. A New Era at Tybee Ballet Theatre
The 2026–2027 season marks an exciting new chapter for Tybee Ballet Theatre. Our dedicated home at Tybee YMCA Room 8, complete with a professional Harlequin sprung floor, provides an elevated training environment designed to support dancers for years to come.
In partnership with the YMCA, we are expanding opportunities for dancers of every age and experience level while continuing our mission of accessible, high-quality dance education.
Our Programs
Tybee Ballet Theatre offers different distinct pathways to meet dancers wherever they are in their journey. Tybee Ballet Centre & Tybee Ballet Academy.
Our recreational program provides welcoming, open-enrollment classes for dancers from Pre-K through 12th grade. Flexible scheduling, supportive instruction, and exciting performance opportunities create the perfect environment for students to discover the joy of dance.
Our academy program provides rigorous classical ballet training for dedicated dancers seeking advanced technical development and artistic growth. Through structured instruction, performance opportunities, and a pre-professional approach, students are encouraged to reach their highest potential.
